The NASW-NE Board of Directors is responsible for getting to know the needs of social workers throughout the State. To build relationships with practitioners, advocates, educators, and community leaders.
This year we updated our New Board Member Orientation, assigned Board member mentors, and began building our strategic plan to meet the mission of NASW-NE.
Committees create opportunities and ensure the values of the profession transcend to the ethical work of social workers, the education of future social workers, and in the efforts to end systemic oppression, racism, and poverty in every state. The chapter committees function as a leader in and a catalyst to policy change, as a resource for information and training, and provide opportunities for social workers to connect and grow.
