2026 NASW-NE Social Work Day at the Capitol

NASW-NE Legislative Day 

Nebraska Legislative Day is an opportunity for social workers and social work students to advocate for their profession, learn about the legislative process, and take an active role in shaping policies that promote social justice and enhance the well-being of communities.

9:30am-3:30pm (CST)

We will start the day off at the Saint Paul United Methodist Church (1144 M Street, Lincoln, NE) and then walk to the Capitol together. We will return to the church for lunch and afternoon programming. 

PARKING: There is a parking garage that is no cost.
